Stallions/Thunder Rivalry Renewed While Supporting a Great Cause!

K-9 Officer TJ is an 11-year old Dutch Shepherd who worked with Colorado Springs Police for seven years.  He was responsible for locating illegal narcotics with an estimated street value of $1.2 million, and handled 3,435 calls for service.

During TJ’s years of service he worked over 690 K-9 deployments, 118 narcotic related deployments, 198 tactical deployments and located 45 suspects.  He also assisted with recovering property with an estimated value of $67,000.

TJ retired due to age and is now enjoying a life of leisure with his former handler Brian Kelly.  “BK” was once a solid part of the Colorado Springs Thunder goaltending crew and has worked with the Colorado Springs Police Department for 13 years.  Recently several health issues have come upon TJ which has put the Kelly family in a financial bind.  The Colorado Springs Thunder organization would like to welcome all of you to some PLAYOFF HOCKEY and an opportunity to give back to amazing members of our local community during a special Charity Jersey Auction on Sunday, January 26th.  Puck drop and jersey unveiling begins at 7pm.

Join us as we auction off one of a kind Charity Jerseys to help TJ, BK, and the entire Kelly family through these tough times.
