Colorado Springs, CO – They have been the team to beat all year and they proved it again on Friday night at CETSports Arena. The hard working Parker Prowlers took two last night from a talented Thunder team that just couldn’t get it done.

The Prowlers took the first two games if the 5-game series with two huge wins. In game 1, Jake Miller put the Thunder up early but then Parker dominated the remainder of the game with Craig Crow notching two goals. The Thunder scored two goals with under a minute to play to make the final score look like a respectable 4-3, but anyone who was at the game saw the Prowlers outwork and outplay the Thunder in every aspect of the game. Game 2 would see the Thunder take an early 2-0 lead but once again they were unable to maintain it. Brian Rogers buried two goals, one with 38 seconds left to tie the game, and after almost 8 minutes of overtime Crow would bounce in the game winner.

The Prowlers are right where they want to be at this stage of the series and have put the Thunder in a must win situation on Sunday night. This is a 5-game series with the remaining games taking place on Sunday night at CETSports Arena with the first puck drop at 6:00pm.
