Sorry about the layoff. I was trying to decipher the comment written by what appeared to be an illiterate Prowlers player or fan. The only thing I could come up with is they don’t have respect for the rest of the division. Oh and it is hard to say you’re the best when you got man handled by the Thunder in the playoffs, who went on to get swept by (in my opinion) the best team in PIHA, the Snipers. Enough about that though we have a lot of exciting happenings go around the league.
The Thunder are doing their jersey auction this weekend while hosting their newest rival the Colorado Stallions. Speaking of the Thunder, their Semipro teams are playing well and currently hold the top two spots in their division. More importantly Black Forest has not been above .500 this late in the season in years. Their old players, lead by an even older coach, are playing in an unorthodox system giving opponents fits so far.
Most teams are right about at the halfway point of the season. The Prowlers are the only team without a loss. They are playing well even when their coach John Bovee shows up in boat shorts to the games. So far, coach Bovee has two Slim awards wrapped up. One the worst dressed at a pro game, and two is the best 70’s style porn mustache ever! Congrats John.
Coming down the home stretch there is one thing for sure, the teams will be riding their horses for an intense finish, with teams jockeying for playoff positions.
See you around the rink,
