TEAMS BATTLE FOR TRIP TO CONFERENCE FINALS
Posted: May 08, 2008 12:59AM Middletown, PA - Two teams are in and twelve more will be decided this coming weekend. Six division finals will be held this weekend to round out PIHA's Elite Eight. Both the Phoenix Dragons and Northern California Mustangs have already advanced by winning their respective division title last weekend. Coming up this weekend is two more Western Conference Division Finals and all four Eastern Conference Division Finals.
Out west in the Rockies the highly regarded Colorado Springs Thunder will take on the Westminster Blizzard. All season it has been the Blizzard that have given the Thunder the toughest time in the division and it should be a tough match up for both squads.
In St Louis, it is a rematch of last season's Gateway Final, as the league's number one team in the regular season, the Midwest Tornadoes, take on last season's PIHA runner up, the Southside Snipers. ... [Full Story]
