Wallington, NJ - The Wallington Grizzlies have completed their roster for the 2012-2013 season and the only returning faces include Peter O’Connell, Matt Ramoundos, Nick Genovese, Cj Gilcrist and goaltender Ryan Wolf. Kris Moore returns from a year off due to a shoulder injury, along with new camp invitees Gary Rokoszak, Michael Formisano, Katie Pinter and Nathan Leo. Billy Compagnone and Bryan Lobay are back after a few years off. Casuality has already hit the team with last years goal scoring threat Victor Masino already going down with a hip injury. “Well, we are adding some new faces, which is nice to see. There are some long time players and some returnees along with players moving on to play pro, so were happy where we are at” says General Manager Denis Jelcic, With Masino down, the Grizlies may dip into the free agent pool and invite back such players as Steve Sharkey, Jeff Turner or Anthony Ferri, however, nothing is definite. Coach Ken Peters was confident even when hearing about the lost player, “We have a good group of players coming back and a good group of players coming in. I can tell you things are looking up for this team and we will be there in the end.”
With that said, the Grizzlies are scheduled to have their first team practice this Sunday and open the season in Pottstown on September 8&9.
